I removed the original two rows of seats and replaced them with a row of window seats. In addition, there are three foldable seats on each side. This way, passengers can prioritize window seats, while later arrivals can simply fold down the side seats. This design significantly improves seat utilization.

If someone is sitting in an aisle seat, you have to speak to them to get a window seat. Many people don’t want to talk or disturb anyone and therefore prefer to remain standing. This leaves the inner seats unused.

The interior often offers too little suitable standing space, so people tend to crowd near the doors. This makes getting on and off the bus unpleasant and sometimes even chaotic, even though there is plenty of room inside.
